VFW Post 6464 Public Servant Safety Awards Press Release

Fowlerville, Michigan. (January 24, 2025) – VFW Post 6464 is proud to announce the following Public Servant Award Winners:

Deputy Chief Matthew Kelleher, Howell Police Department, Howell, Michigan for the VFW Post 6464, Public Servant Safety Award, "Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” and

Robert Cindric, Livingston County Emergency Medical Serviced (EMS), Livingston County, Livingston, Michigan for Post 6464, Public Servant Safety Award, Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic of the Year.

Our public servant awards were selected from entries submitted to VFW Post 6464 from two counties as the post area of responsibility covers a portion of Ingham and Livingston Counties. 

Sponsored by VFW Post 6464 Fowlerville, Michigan, each Safety Award Recipient will receive a Post Citation, along with and check for $300.00.  The Awards to be issued on February 8, 2025.  The 7th Annual Awards Banquet will be held at VFW Post 6464, 215 Veterans Drive, Fowlerville, Michigan.
